Cai Hegao

Cai Hegao, robotist andexpert in mechatronics, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering. Professor of Electrical and Mechanical Control and Automation division, Harbin Institute of Technology. He successfully developed China's first arc welding robot and spot welding robot, enabling China with the key technologies on robot trajectory control with high accuracy and path prediction. He established China's first doctor degree discipline on electromechanical control and automation. Dr. Cai won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from Ministry of Aerospace Industry of China for twice. In 1997, he was elected as a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering
